Are Actors Taking Their Jobs Too Seriously?
In a recent altercation with the paps, Woody Harrelson claimed he did it because he thought the paps were zombies. He said that he had just been filming a movie with the aforementioned monsters, got confused and thought he was still on set. Now we have Keifer Sutherland head-butting a guy for accidentally jostling Brooke Shields which have people joking that in his state of drunkeness, Keifer might have channeled his alter-ego Jack Bauer and thought the guy was a terrorist out to knock down Brooke Shields.
In all honesty I believe this is all hooey. Harrelson's claim, though original and funny, would never fly. Even if he really thought he was still on the set, shouldn't it have occured to him that the whole sequence was not what was practiced during rehearsal? And we all know that Keifer doesn't need to channel anybody to start kicking ass.
But I must say that I still love Keifer. The man might go crazy with the booze but it is nice to see that he is equally inclined to defend the helpless with the same frenzy. It is just sad that on the 2 times he actually rose to defend someone, the first being an old lady being robbed and the second being Brooke Shields getting bumped accidentally in a crowd, they didn't really need defending. The thing with the old lady was a staged scene being filmed by 2 guys doing a video for youtube and Brooke Shields has taken harder hits before.
