After reading this article, I started seeing red.

This woman and those doctors didn't perform the abortion merely because this is an unwanted pregnancy. They didn't perform it because the girl is unmarried. They didn't perform it because the girl is a rape victim. They performed it because if this little girl went through with the pregnancy, she will die. She is carrying twins and she is only 80 pounds. Such a pregnancy would be hard on a grown woman. Can you imagine what it would do to such a small person? It would be a disaster.

This Bishop does not see what a disaster that situation could be because he only sees one view point of the issue and does not dare to see more than that. I wish that this Bishop could put himself in that girl's shoes. He should lose weight until he's just 80 pounds and have have 2 fetuses inplanted in him. If he argues that men aren't meant to carry children, well then it has to be pointed out to him that 11 year old girls aren't meant to carry children either.

If this Bishop truly believes what he is saying then he should also ex-communicate any person who has taken a life. He should start with the murders in their jail cells. Then he should move on to those who took a life to defend another life such as policemen, soldiers and the lawmakers and individuals who sanctioned and supported their actions. After that group he should go after those who took a life by accident such as regular people who ended up killing a person who was attacking them or a loved one during a crime or those involved in a vehicular accident. Then he can move on to those who took a life to save another life such as this mother and those doctors.

The church has a habit of ex-communicating people who happen to cross them because these people make the church look bad. They ex-communicated Galileo for saying that the sun is the center of our solar system and Jose Rizal for marrying a Protestant. But they fail to ex-communicate those who participated in the Witch Hunt in Salem who have wrongly killed hundreds of people accused of withcraft or the extremists such as the members of the Ku Klux Klan who have lynched people of color and burned crosses in the yards of those who supported the civil rights movement.

This is what makes me so riled up about religious hypocrites. This Bishop can take his religion and shove it up his ass.

Having received an office-wide email relating to us how a news publishing group put out a story with erroneous facts about firings that happened last January, I started thinking if that matters or not. Sure the numbers printed were not exactly correct however the effect is still the same and so are the sentiments of current or former employees. The number of those fired were a big chunk. Out of the 14 people in our row, only 4 remained. WTF? Overall it may not have been 50% of the workforce but in the sub-areas, that figure couldn't be more true.

The company can hee and haw all they want to the media how their news reports are wrong but the damage is done. And a part of me is not sorry to see it happen. This company puts up a nice fascade of being fair all around but it is still a corporation therefore it will still screw people over when it gets its chance. This place blows and people should know about it.
