Worse than an Oprah's Book Club Seal
Recommending Wuthering Heights as the favorite book of fictional characters demeans it.

I have asthma?
As if my hair was not enough of an indicator that I hardly look in the mirror, my nose has joined the list. I apparently haven't noticed that my nose has slowly become slightly misaligned due to my inflamed nasal polyps. The inflammation was because I have allergic rhinitis.
What's allergic rhinitis? Heck if I know but that's what the doctor told me yesterday when I had my pre-employment physical. He said my nose is allergic to cold air or something like that.
Great.....allergic to air. How the heck am I supposed to avoid air? But it's not all bad news. Since it is the cold air that I'm allergic to this is a seasonal thing. Ok, maybe not so great news since I do use air-conditioning and it's now looking like rainy season in the country is becoming longer and longer but that still means that it's not all bad.

Is It The 80's Fashion or Is Sam Really Gay?
A few days ago I was able to watch the movie The Lost Boys. As the movie progressed I began to wonder if Corey Haim's character, Sam, is gay. Now, reading some comments on a video in youtube featuring kids wearing 80's type clothes, it occurred to me that men's fashion during the 80's is easy to confuse with what most would consider "gay-wear". So it could be just the clothes. But a Sexy Rob Lowe poster in a boy's room?
Anyhoo, below are some pictures that may support my suspicions:
1. Sexy Rob Lowe Poster
2. Girly Bandana
3. Long Baths4. Eye Covers5. Born to Shop Shirt

Tom Cruise is an American Psycho
I read this
interview where the director of American Psycho revealed that Bale's performance was based on Tom Cruise.
Below is the reference to this topic in the article:
It was definitely a process. We talked a lot, but he was in L.A. and I was in New York. We didn’t actually meet in person a lot, just talked on the phone. We talked about how Martian-like Patrick Bateman was, how he was looking at the world like somebody from another planet, watching what people did and trying to work out the right way to behave. And then one day he called me and he had been watching Tom Cruise on David Letterman, and he just had this very intense friendliness with nothing behind the eyes, and he was really taken with this energy.
Trivia:
In the book, Tom Cruise is mentioned as living in the same building the where the psycho character currently resides and they even meet in the elevator.
My take on this:
Don't Scientologists believe that they are souls that have lived on other planets before living on Earth. So if Bale was looking for a human Martian to copy for the role in American Psycho, Cruise is a pretty good choice.

TMI
As much as I admire honesty, there is such a thing as over-share. Dude, TMI!

Faith is going to kick your ass!
In the slideshow
Fanboys' favorite geek girls, Eliza Dushku is credited as being known as Echo from the show Dollhouse.
Sure, that is her current gig. But I believe that the fanboys still fondly know her as ass-kicking, five-by-fiving Faith from her Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel days.

Icked Out
Below is a SMS trail between me and my friend on my reaction to the D/X pairing in the Season 8 comic continuation of BTVS.
06:00 PM
Me: Xan and Dawn?! WTF! After a couple of B/X teases Xan ends up with Dawn. Sure Dawn a.k.a. M.T. is looking good these days and Xan a.k.a. N.B. is just this side of pudgy but come on!
J: I take it that you've seen the new comic.
06:02 PMMe: Darned tooting. And I'm icked out.
06:05 PMJ: So say we all. It was mighty disturbing.
